Summer may have taken a little break, but that doesn't stop us from enjoying fruity yoghurt ice cream. So that you can feast without a guilty conscience, we have prepared a low-calorie version without sugar for you. Since Greek yoghurt is a healthy protein bomb, feel free to lick a little more of it. Delicious!
Ingredients for the yoghurt ice cream:
- 300g Greek yoghurt
- Various fruits of your choice e.g. kiwi, pineapple, strawberries & blackberries
- 5 tbsp lemon juice
- Ice cubes (e.g. at Ikea)
- agave syrup or honey as needed
To begin with, the fruit must be washed and the stalks removed. Cut the fruit into small pieces. Put the yoghurt in a bowl and stir in the lemon juice. This later gives the ice cream a tangy note. If you like, you can also puree a few strawberries and add them to the yoghurt. Then the yoghurt mass and the pieces of fruit are placed in the ice cream moulds. Now it's time to wait!
If you don't want popsicles, you can put the ice cream mixture with pieces of fruit in a frost-proof bowl, cover with cling film and place in the freezer for about 6 hours. In between you should stir the ice cream again and again so that it gets nice and creamy.
For all those with a sweet tooth who like it sweet: simply add some agave syrup or honey to the yoghurt before you add the fruit. Those who prefer to refresh themselves with a soda will find it here a few tasty recipes.
